Security solutions · For SaaS & fintech

Your next security review shouldn't be the first time you find the gap.

Manual penetration testing for SaaS and fintech teams that need to uncover exploitable weaknesses, prioritize fixes, and verify remediation.

Scope agreed upfront · Findings documented · Retesting terms clarified

A pentest should answer three questions

Here is what that looks like in practice.

  1. 1
    What can go wrong?

Identify and validate security weaknesses within the agreed scope.

  2. 2
    What should we fix first?

Get evidence, impact, and practical remediation guidance for each finding.

  3. 3
    Did the fix work?

Verify remediation through retesting when it is included in scope.

Illustrative exampleHigh

Broken access control: users can read other customers' records

Affected area
Customer records API (example)
Proof of impact
Changing a record ID in an authenticated request returned data that belonged to a different customer account.
Recommended fix
Check record ownership on the server for every request, not only in the interface.
Retest result
Fixed and verified

Example for illustration only. It is not client data.

What we offer

Pick the assessment that fits your situation. Exact coverage is agreed in writing before any testing starts.

01

Web Application Penetration Testing

Hands-on testing of your web application to find weaknesses an attacker could actually exploit.

  • Authentication and session handling
  • Access controls and user roles
  • Business logic and workflow abuse
  • Sensitive data exposure
Request web app testing
02

API Penetration Testing

Testing of the APIs behind your product, where serious access and data-exposure issues tend to hide.

  • Authorization failures and object-level access
  • Token and authentication handling
  • Sensitive data exposure
  • Abuse of workflows and limits
Request API testing
03

SaaS Security Assessment

Web app and API tested together, with extra focus on how customers and roles are separated.

  • Cross-customer (tenant) data exposure
  • Roles and permissions model
  • Broken access control paths
  • Payment and workflow abuse, where in scope

Choose this when you want one assessment across app and API. Choose the single tests above for a narrower scope.

04

SOC 2 / ISO 27001 Technical Remediation Support

Help prioritizing and fixing the technical gaps raised in customer reviews and compliance work, within the scope we agree.

  • Turn findings into a prioritized fix list
  • Support implementing or validating fixes
  • Testing evidence your team can share when asked

Penetration testing is supporting evidence. Certification and audit outcomes always come from an independent auditor, and nothing here guarantees them.

05

Retesting and Verification

After your team fixes the issues, we test them again and document whether each one is resolved.

  • Each fix checked against the original finding
  • Clear status for every item: fixed or still open

Included retests and the time window are defined in your quote.

Beyond automated scans

Scanners flag patterns. A manual penetration test shows what an attacker could really do with them.

Validate exploitabilityWe confirm whether an identified weakness can actually be exploited within the agreed scope, so your team fixes real risk instead of noise.
Test real attack pathsWe assess access controls, tenant boundaries, and business logic, the areas automated tools struggle to judge.
Help your team fix itYou get actionable guidance, and agreed fixes are verified through retesting.

What you'll receive

The output matters as much as the test. Here is what comes with every engagement.

  • Findings reportEvery confirmed finding with severity and the area affected.
  • Proof and reproduction stepsEvidence that supports each result, so your engineers can see it for themselves.
  • Remediation guidanceClear direction on how to fix each issue and what to fix first.
  • Retest verificationFix status documented for each item, where retesting is part of your quote.
  • Compliance evidence supportWhere agreed in scope, findings framed so they can support a customer review or SOC 2 / ISO 27001 evidence request.

How an engagement works

A defined scope before testing starts, so there are no surprises.

  1. 1
    Scope

We agree what is tested, which environments and user roles, and what is off limits. This is written down before work begins.

  2. 2
    Test

We carry out the agreed assessment and tell you about any critical issue through the channel we agreed.

  3. 3
    Report

You receive each confirmed finding: what we found, how we proved it, why it matters, and how to fix it.

  4. 4
    Fix and retest

Your team fixes the issues. Where retesting is part of your quote, we confirm the fixes worked.

When teams call us

Testing is most useful when a business decision depends on it.

Before a customer security reviewAn enterprise buyer wants proof your product has been tested.
Ahead of SOC 2 or ISO 27001Your auditor or compliance work needs penetration testing evidence.
Before a major releaseYou want issues found before launch, not after customers do.
After shipping a new app or APIA new customer-facing surface has not been tested yet.

Common questions

What will we receive after the penetration test?

A findings report covering each confirmed issue, with severity, supporting evidence, reproduction steps, and remediation guidance. Retest status is documented where retesting is part of your quote.

Can you test before our SOC 2 audit or a customer security review?

Yes. Tell us the deadline when you request a quote and we will scope the work around it. Testing can supply evidence an auditor or customer asks for, but the required scope should be confirmed with your auditor or compliance owner.

Can a penetration test guarantee SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance?

No. No single test guarantees compliance or audit acceptance. Penetration testing is supporting evidence, not a substitute for certification or an auditor's opinion.

What happens if you find a critical vulnerability?

We agree an escalation contact and channel during scoping. Critical issues are reported to that contact when we find them, rather than waiting for the final report.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

Both depend on the applications, APIs, user roles, and scope. After we review those details, we send a proposed scope, timeline, and fee.

Is retesting included?

Retesting depends on the scope of your engagement. Your quote states whether it is included, what is covered, and the time window.

Will testing disrupt our production systems?

Targets, excluded actions, test windows, and an escalation contact are agreed before work starts. Production testing only happens when it is explicitly authorized.
